Erik V. Schuk, Executive Director
Erik got his start in senior living care in 2003 and came to Orchard Park in 2016. His love for taking care of people has led him to pursue a career which has ranged from an executive chef to an administrator in several retirement communities. In 2013 Erik earned his RCFE license. Erik is a native of Finland where he studied business and international trade at Handelslaroverket in Ekenas, Finland. Erik has an extensive career of 30 years in the culinary industry that has led him through many countries, finally culminating with his emigration to the United States in 1994.
Erik loves to spend time with his wife Virginia and his children Tobias, Tomas, and Annika. He also speaks three languages fluently, and one not so fluently. Erik and his family’s favorite pastimes are cooking, traveling and enjoying the company of family and friends. He also enjoys sharing stories about his life experiences around a great cup of coffee, preferably black with no cream. Erik is always happy to sit down for a cup of coffee, or even give a small tour. So come on by and get a taste of our world renown hospitality.
Debbie Aramian, Business Office Manager
Deb joined Orchard Park in April of 2002. Deb came to us from Skilled Nursng and has worked Long Term Care since 1996. Deb oversees the business office and reception desk and it is a job she truely loves. Deb earned her RCFE Administrators License in 2008. In her spare time she enjoys camping and fishing with her family. Deb and her son, Zach enojoy taking the residents of Orchard Park fishing in the spring and summer when the weather is nice.
Sarah Stromer, Community Relations Director
Sarah has worked in Marketing for over 4yrs. She has a passion for helping the community and living life to the fullest. She loves to travel and enjoys living an active lifestyle doing everything from rock climbing, boogie boarding, to hiking, and cycling. Her family and friends add to the beauty of her life. Sarah has 3 amazing children, Garret, Devin, and Samantha-aka Buggie, that keep her on her toes. Her children love to spend time with the residents. Devin enjoys playing the piano for the residents and “Buggie” loves to brings her toys to show everyone.
Ruth Williams, Community Outreach Director
Ruthie has over 10 years of experience in marketing with a BS from the Sid Craig School of Business at CSU Fresno. She enjoys planning social and fund raising events as a Board Member for the Alumni & Friends of the Craig School of Business (Go Bulldogs!). In her free time, Ruthie enjoys wine tasting, trips to the coast and visiting friends in San Diego. She and her husband have three, furry, four legged children: Minnie, Daisy and Tink.
Beth Ann Petty, LVN, Health Services Director
An LVN, Beth applies almost twenty years of experience in Assisted Living to her job as Health Services Director. With Orchard Park since January 2005, she is responsible for overseeing the health care services of our residents. Beth lives in the foothills of Fresno County and enjoys the serenity of country life with her family and grandchildren.
Mary Schilling, Activities Director
Mary started her career at a skilled nursing facility and has experience working with both memory care and assisted living. She has also been working on her Health Science Degree. Mary has two amazing dogs Nyx and Aurora and very caring husband that she spends most of her time with. During her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, camping, going on trails with their truck and doing crafts. She takes a great deal of pride knowing that the Residents are having fun and are challenged with their daily activities. Mary has big plans and goals for both the Residents needs and herself.
James Cavanaugh, Dining Service Director
As Dining Services Director, Jim is responsible for all food service functions and oversees all dining services staff. In late 2006, his work earned Orchard Park's dining services program an Award of Excellence for resident satisfaction. Jim loves to fish and spend time with his family, which includes four children and nine grandchildren.
Dan Jinapuck, Building Services Manager
Dan came to Orchard Park in 2001 and brings to the community four decades of experience in maintaining healthcare facilities. At Orchard Park, Dan oversees housekeeping, maintenance, laundry and landscaping. He works closely with the nursing, dining, marketing, and activities departments to ensure that residents have a safe, comfortable and pleasant home in which to live. Dan can often be seen chatting with residents on his way to his next task. When not at Orchard Park, Dan loves fishing, cooking Thai food, Thai boxing and tai chi exercises.
