Many of our dedicated team members have been here for as long as Orchard Park has existed and boast over 17 years of experience in senior care services! It is our mission to personalize our residents’ experiences according to their unique preferences and to form connections among our staff, our residents, and their loved ones.
Through our unique Smile Program, families have access to an online portal where they can stay up-to-date on activities, post special moments, and share personal details about their loved one’s hobbies, goals, and important life events. In turn, the staff at Orchard Park are able to create a more welcoming, customized experience for our residents.
Erik comes to Orchard Park with more than 13 years’ experience in the senior living industry, and has held roles such as executive chef and administrator. He cites his love of caring for others as the reason he found his way into the industry. A native of Finland, Erik traveled extensively before emigrating to the U.S. in 1994. Outside of work, you can find Erik hanging out with his wife, Virginia, and three kids, Tobias, Tomas, and Annika, as well as cooking, traveling, and enjoying the company of friends. Some fun facts about Erik? He speaks three languages fluently, and one not so fluently, he says. He also prefers a strong, black cup of coffee—no cream or sugar. Erik looks forward to meeting members of the community and is always happy to sit down for a cup of coffee or to give a small tour. We're excited for all that he will bring to our community!

With more than 15 years of successful sales and marketing experience for a national publishing company, Amy’s customer service skills and her desire to help others paved the way for her current role in the healthcare arena.
Amy has always been concerned with helping others, especially the elderly. While living in London, England, she volunteered with a charitable organization that called on seniors who were housebound and in need of an advocate for their care. After returning to the U.S., she dedicated herself to her ailing mother’s last few years, and provided 24/7 care, to ensure that they were meaningful. After her mother’s passing, Amy felt the need to continue working with other seniors to improve their quality of life and followed that path.
In her current role as the Illuminations Coordinator, Amy says she has the privilege every day of providing loving care and support to the memory care residents who call Orchard Park their home.
Prior to coming on board at Orchard Park, Amy’s served in the role of assisted living coordinator for a new luxury residential community, as well as the activities director for a non-profit senior community, and the assistant director at an in-home care agency.
Amy moved to Fresno from Tampa, Florida, in November of 2011 with her husband, Tim. In in their free time, they work as volunteers to support the Fresno Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event. And they also operate a local restaurant.

He was recently promoted to the dining services director, where he says his favorite part of the new title includes cooking foods that residents enjoy from their younger years, as well as introducing new food choices that have received excellent feedback. When not at Orchard Park, Leo enjoys traveling with his wife, visiting new restaurants and trying new cuisines, of course! His favorite thing to do at home is cook for his family and friends on special occasions.
